NVC Learning Journey, Japan – May 2026

We are excited to share with you an NVC Learning Journey in Japan this May, 2025. This is an invitation to slow down, to reconnect with what matters, and to cultivate the courage to live with empathy, authenticity, and belonging.

Three offerings, separate in nature but rooted in the same consciousness, together becoming a modular and intentional pathway for anyone who wants to deepen their NVC skills and consciousness.

Preparation for this journey begins with an Online NVC Foundations Workshop on April 18-19, 2026.

To register for any of the workshops, the online Foundations Training or in person workshops, please fill out this interest form or contact Keiko directly at nvc.socialbridge@gmail.com.

The Trainers

Keiko Silbermann is a CNVC Certified Trainer based on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Her work weaves together Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the wisdom of the Aloha spirit, and somatic awareness to support transformation at personal, relational, and systemic levels. Deeply influenced by the teachings of Hawaiian kumu (traditional teachers) and her studies in somatics at the Esalen Institute, Keiko explores NVC not only as a communication practice but as a way of living that connects spirituality, embodiment, and social change.

Her offerings include NVC trainings (beginner to advanced), NVC for ALL programs that include awareness of social systems, Vision Mobilization work, and practice groups based on the Nonviolence Core Commitments.

Keiko also contributes to expanding access to NVC in Japan by organizing international workshops and supporting translation projects, including the Japanese translation team for the book Choice.

Living in Puna on the Big Island, where she experienced volcanic eruptions and the powerful cycles of destruction and regeneration, has deepened her understanding that personal transformation and social transformation are inseparable. She is inspired by a vision of a world where each person reconnects with their purpose and power, and where all life is honored through deep interdependence.
